The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

The Saving Faith of Christians

It is the work of the Spirit in our hearts to truly believe.  It is wrought by the Word of God in our hearts.  We gain grace and strength from baptism, the Lord’s Supper and devotions that increase our devotion and strengthen our devotion.  (2 Corinthians 4:13, “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak…”  (Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God…”).  (Romans 10:14, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”).  (Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”).  (Luke 17:5, “And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith”).  (1 Peter 2:2, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby…”).  (Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified”).
