The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

The Nessecity of Repentance

Repentance can be seen in the Bible as a national repentance.  We ought to say that God should bless America with repentance.  America is not sinless but in need of forgiveness and cleansing.  We have sinned by abortion and homosexual marriage.  America is already under the wrath of God because of these things.  If there is sin there must be repentance and a returning to God.

Repentance is a gift from God.  It is not meritorious or something we earn.  It is a free gift of God, Christ and the Holy Ghost.  We are led to repentance by God's merciful and loving kindnesses through His patience and long-suffering and goodness.  We repent because of the conviction of sin.  The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and then we repent.  We ought to ask God to search us and know us and find any wicked way within us.

Repentance means we have spiritual life, remission of sins, a new spirit, a new heart and abounding joy.  Repentance is a sign of reformation, restitution and godly sorrow that no one should repent of.

Repent, the kingdom draweth nigh,
The herald of the Lord doth cry.
Ye sinners lost through Adam’s fall,
Will ye not hearken to the call?
Repent! The gracious call believe,
Haste His forgiveness to receive.
The Prince of Life, incarnate Word,
Life and salvation can afford.
Divine Redeemer, glorious King!
Repentant hearts to Thee we bring.
Thy holy blood for us was spilt,
Cleanse us from all the stains of guilt.
Drawn by Thy Spirit, through Thy Word,
Thine invitation have we heard.
In answer to Thy sweet request,
We come to Thee, O Christ, for rest.
Thy pardon, full, complete, and free,
Removes sin’s awful penalty.
Our Father’s love is now restored;
Thou hast redeemed us, dearest Lord.
Let us Thy name forever bless,
On earth Thy Gospel truth confess,
Till saved by grace, through faith in Thee,
The gates of paradise we see.

Prayer to the Holy Trinity

Holy Father, we come to Thee through Jesus Christ Thy only Son by Thy Spirit.

Give us grace to grow in the confidence and knowledge of the Thee.  Help us to work out our salvation with reverential fear and trembling.  Let us not be in tormenting fear but a fear of respect of Thee.  May we repent not because of fear of punishment but because it has offended Thee.

May we mourn over sin committed and grow in the grace and faith of the Lord in Thy Word.  Deliver us from opposing enemies by Thy Spirit.  Sanctify us through Thy truth Thy Word is truth!  Protect us from every darkness that seeks to take us away from Thee.  Keep us on the straight and narrow path that leads to Thee.  Sometimes we may be outside Thy will but we know we never lose Thy Fatherly care.

Always give us redemptive grace alone through Christ alone.  We pray that Thou would grant us Thy favor in this life.  Grant work Oh Lord God Almighty!  Keep us protected from Satan as was the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17.  May we stand our ground and fight for Jesus no matter what!

Expose us to the truth of Thy Word and keep us feeding on it.  Grant that we would remember Thy Word and mediate on it.  May we dwell constantly on Thy Word.

We pray for our enemies that Thou may bless them and give them Thy gospel of good news.  We pray for the unfed that Thou would fed them.  We pray for the unclothed that Thou would cloth them.  We pray for the ill that Thou would heal them.  We pray for the stranger that Thou would show them hospitality, for we could entertain angels unaware.  We pray for the imprisoned that Thou would heal them and deliver them and help them with the truth of the forgiving power of Thy Word.  We pray for all of them that are spiritually lost that Thou would bring them to Thyself through the proclamation of Thy Word.  We pray for those involved in cults that Thou would bless and help them with the understanding of Thy Word.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Assurance of Salvation

1 John 5 KJV
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God (emphasis mine).

No One Can Take Us Out of God's Love

Romans KJV
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (emphasis mine).

No Matter What

O ye who have wandered in sorrow away,
There’s pardon on
Calvary;
A pardon to sinners is offered today;
There’s pardon on
Calvary.
Refrain
There’s pardon on Calvary,
There’s pardon on
Calvary;
A pardon of love from the Father above,
A pardon on
Calvary.
Since Jesus has died on the cross for us all,
There’s pardon on
Calvary;
Your hearts can be cleansed if you come at His call;
There’s pardon on
Calvary.
Refrain
His hand is held out in compassion to you,
There’s pardon on
Calvary;
Your long wasted lives He in love will renew;
There’s pardon on
Calvary.
Refrain
O hasten to lay all your sin at His feet,
There’s pardon on
Calvary;
Come now and accept His redemption complete;
There’s pardon on
Calvary.

If Jesus forgives you, it is no matter what sin you will commit, He will still forgive you.  The Bible speaks about Jesus saying “It is finished!”  It literally means “paid in full.”   It means all our sin in our past, present and future life is forgiven.  There is no sin that can damn us and there is no sin that will cause us to be forsaken.  We are kept by God through Jesus Christ (Jude 1:1, “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called…” emphasis mine).  There is also no condemnation to them in Christ (cf. Romans 8:1).  We are kept by God through Christ by His Spirit:

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.  And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.  What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?  He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  (Romans 8:26-39).

We see Peter denying Jesus three times; that is, Peter committed the same sin over and over but Jesus did not condemn him.  Peter also in Galatians 2 denied the Gospel of grace and peace but God still forgave him.  We see all the apostles forsook Christ at His most desperate hour but they still belong to Him.  It does not matter what you have done in your life God can and will forgive you if you ask Him.  And He keeps His own no matter what!  No matter what, He will never abandon you or condemn you if you have been born again.

Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Refrain
Savior, Savior,
Hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
Do not pass me by.
Let me at Thy throne of mercy
Find a sweet relief,
Kneeling there in deep contrition;
Help my unbelief.
Refrain
Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
Heal my wounded, broken spirit,
Save me by Thy grace.
Refrain
Thou the Spring of all my comfort,
More than life to me,
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in Heav’n but Thee?

Spiritual Insanity: A Hidden Controversy

I think there is a hidden corruption in the church.  There needs to be reformation.  It is the selling of salvation through the activity of sex.  I think this could be the reason why people claim rape so much in the general church of the people of God.  I think there needs to be reformation in spiritual salvation in the Protestant and Catholic churches.  I think Luther and Calvin were right in their interpretation of grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone and to God be the glory alone.  I think Calvin was right in understanding of total depravity, unconditional election, particular redemption, irresistible grace and preservation of the saints.  I think the reason why people do this is because of their spiritual condition of spiritual insanity (cf. 1 Corinthians 2:14).  There is no way that spiritual salvation can be granted through the activity of sex.  It may well be an excuse to have sex or to rape someone.  Again, there must be reformation.  People do not talk about this in the church but if someone is a victim of it they may know.  If someone adds sex to spiritual salvation, it is under the anathema of God (cf. Galatians 1:8-11).  There is no good reason for rape against anyone.  Look what happened to Peter when he added to the gospel in what Paul said to him,

But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.  For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.  And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?  We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.  But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.  For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.  For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”  (Galatians 2:11-21).

We ought not to add to the gospel no matter what it is.  The gospel is freedom from works and sin, because it is about Christ and what He has done for us in our place.  The gospel is about the loving of Christ toward us through His life and death alone.  There is no doubt that someone unsaved should do whatever they can to belong to Christ.  That is why Jesus will say, “Do you want all your sin to mean that you want to belong to me?”  The answer to this, is “yes, Lord.”  But adding to the gospel is a grave sin that Rome has already done but in our society so has some of the Protestants.  I do not know who they are by name but I think by way of experience they have perverted the gospel and defiled the Word of God like Rome has already done by her additions to the gospel.  I call those who have done this to people to “stop!” and “repent!” and love your neighbor as yourself.
     But I am not saying that this is the answer to everyone’s case, but I am saying that I know of those who do this behind the scene.  People ought to wish one another the peace of the Lord and stop harming one another in the name of Jesus.  I know there is a cult also that gets things through sex from a god of Hinduism; that is, the Bible renders such things as rebellion as witchcraft.  This also is a kind of spiritual insanity that is not spoken about in our modern world in public.  It is a heresy and must be avoided at all costs.  The Bible calls all people to repentance and faith; that is, people ought to ask for forgiveness for their sins to the God of the Bible.  There is forgiveness alone through Him alone.  People should get things from God the Trinity by prayer and supplication no matter how long it takes but not through sexual favors.  God works all things out for our good because we love Him.  If someone has failed and committed sin, God will still work out ALL things for our good (cf. Romans 8:28).   This is the hope we have in Christ because we love God by His Spirit and Word.  If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha” (1 Corinthians 16:22).  Amen.
     Everyone who has this sin but trusted Christ has His white robes of unified merit upon them and the peace of God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior (Romans 5:1).  However, we should not sin that grace may abound (Romans 6:1-3).  As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God” (1 Peter 2:16).  We ought to pursue the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5ff).  The people of God should not be caught up with sexual activity outside of marriage.  We are to be a holy people unto the Lord and not a worker of iniquity.  We ought to practice the Ten Commandments and remember “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”  If we understand this in the board context of the commandment, we would understand that it refers to all sexual uncleanness.  It simply means that we should avoid it but repent when we fall into any sex lust.  Therefore we ought not to add sex to the gospel.  Amen.

The Gift of Justification: Adoption

Adoption is the awesome gift of justification by faith alone through Christ alone.   It is God's present acceptance of us by the world's Judge.  This is accomplished by the gift of adoption. We are a child of our Heavenly Father.  We are people of bad character because we are all corrupt sinners.  We are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

Adoption is founded on justification.  Those who are adopted have receive Christ and belong to Christ.  We are loved in and through Christ as God loves His eternally only begotten Son.  We also share in the glory that is Christ's now.  Christians are under the care of our Heavenly Father.  Sometimes it means we get disciplined by Him because we have done the wrong thing.  No one should spitefully pray for discipline of another, but out of love pray for it.  We ought to pray to our Father in heaven.  We ought to trust His fatherly love.  Adoption and regeneration are two things of salvation that Jesus brings to us.  We ought to understand that we have a new relationship in adoption with God.  God wants us to have His holy character and He takes the initiative.

Here is what the London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 says,
Chapter 12: Of Adoption
_______ All those that are justified, God vouchsafed, in and for the sake of his only Son Jesus Christ, to make partakers of the grace of adoption, by which they are taken into the number, and enjoy the liberties and privileges of the children of God, have his name put upon them, receive the spirit of adoption, have access to the throne of grace with boldness, are enabled to cry Abba, Father, are pitied, protected, provided for, and chastened by him as by a Father, yet never cast off, but sealed to the day of redemption, and inherit the promises as heirs of everlasting salvation.
(Ephesians 1:5; Galatians 4:4, 5; John 1:12; Romans 8:17; 2 Corinthians 6:18; Revelation 3:12; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:6; Ephesians 2:18; Psalms 103:13; Proverbs 14:26; 1 Peter 5:7; Hebrews 12:6; Isaiah 54:8, 9; Lamentations 3:31; Ephesians 4:30; Hebrews 1:14; Hebrews 6:12)
We are elected by God (Deut. 14:1, 2; Rom. 11:1-32), blessed by God (Rom. 9:4) and seen in history (Ex. 4:22, 23).   The spiritual salvation of the Gentiles was predicted by the prophets, confirmed by faith and seen in the new covenant.  We have been predestined in the past, present and future.   The source is God's grace, by faith and through Jesus Christ.  The assurance's of the Spirit's witness, the Spirit's leading and we cry "Abba, Father."  We lived a changed life under the Father's chastening.  The blessings of a new nature, a new name, access to God, Fatherly love, help in prayer, spiritual unity and a glorious inheritance.

We are partakers of the grace of adoption.  We are accepted into the number of God's elect.  We also enjoy the liberties and privileges of the children of God.  We have His name put upon us.  We have been given the Holy Spirit in our adoption.  We have access to the throne of grace whereby we come boldly.  We are "pitied, protected, provided for and chastened by him as by a Father, yet never cast off, but sealed to the day of redemption, and inherit the promises as hairs of everlasting salvation."  This information was used from references of a topical index and a Reformed study bible.

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Psalm 51 KJV
51 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Daniel 9:9
To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Daniel 9:19
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Matthew 18 KJV
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

James 5:15
And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Jeremiah 31:34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Amos 7:2
And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

This is fulfilled in and through Christ alone at the Cross:
Leviticus 4:31
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

Leviticus 4:35
And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.

Leviticus 6:7
And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

Leviticus 19:22
And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

The Awesome Doctrine of Absolute Predestination

God foreordains whatsoever comes to past in the past, present and future of what happens in the universe of all things.  Predestination is a reference to God’s decision on our eternal destinies.  It is in regards to whether we spend eternity in hell or heaven.  The New Testament refers to predestination of elect sinners.  God chooses whether we end up in hell or in heaven.  He chooses in advance of our lives or before our lives.  God’s foreordination of things includes election and reprobation.  Some think God chooses on the basis of whether we accept or reject Christ.  This would be an Arminian doctrine.  But the Bible says its not because of any works of righteousness that we have done but because of Him who calls or by His mercy He saved us.  The London Baptist Confession of 1689 says,

Chapter 3: Of God's Decree

1._____ God hath decreed in himself, from all eternity, by the most wise and holy counsel of his own will, freely and unchangeably, all things, whatsoever comes to pass; yet so as thereby is God neither the author of sin nor hath fellowship with any therein; nor is violence offered to the will of the creature, nor yet is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established; in which appears his wisdom in disposing all things, and power and faithfulness in accomplishing his decree.
( Isaiah 46:10; Ephesians 1:11; Hebrews 6:17; Romans 9:15, 18; James 1:13; 1 John 1:5; Acts 4:27, 28; John 19:11; Numbers 23:19; Ephesians 1:3-5 )
2._____ Although God knoweth whatsoever may or can come to pass, upon all supposed conditions, yet hath he not decreed anything, because he foresaw it as future, or as that which would come to pass upon such conditions.
( Acts 15:18; Romans 9:11, 13, 16, 18 )
3._____ By the decree of God, for the manifestation of his glory, some men and angels are predestinated, or foreordained to eternal life through Jesus Christ, to the praise of his glorious grace; others being left to act in their sin to their just condemnation, to the praise of his glorious justice.
( 1 Timothy 5:21; Matthew 25:34; Ephesians 1:5, 6; Romans 9:22, 23; Jude 4 )
4.______These angels and men thus predestinated and foreordained, are particularly and unchangeably designed, and their number so certain and definite, that it cannot be either increased or diminished.
( 2 Timothy 2:19; John 13:18 )
5._____ Those of mankind that are predestinated to life, God, before the foundation of the world was laid, according to his eternal and immutable purpose, and the secret counsel and good pleasure of his will, hath chosen in Christ unto everlasting glory, out of his mere free grace and love, without any other thing in the creature as a condition or cause moving him thereunto.
( Ephesians 1:4, 9, 11; Romans 8:30; 2 Timothy 1:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9; Romans 9:13, 16; Ephesians 2:5, 12 )
6._____ As God hath appointed the elect unto glory, so he hath, by the eternal and most free purpose of his will, foreordained all the means thereunto; wherefore they who are elected, being fallen in Adam, are redeemed by Christ, are effectually called unto faith in Christ, by his Spirit working in due season, are justified, adopted, sanctified, and kept by his power through faith unto salvation; neither are any other redeemed by Christ, or effectually called, justified, adopted, sanctified, and saved, but the elect only.
( 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 10; Romans 8:30; 2 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:5; John 10:26; John 17:9; John 6:64 )
7._____ The doctrine of the high mystery of predestination is to be handled with special prudence and care, that men attending the will of God revealed in his Word, and yielding obedience thereunto, may, from the certainty of their effectual vocation, be assured of their eternal election; so shall this doctrine afford matter of praise, reverence, and admiration of God, and of humility, diligence, and abundant consolation to all that sincerely obey the gospel.
( 1 Thessalonians 1:4, 5; 2 Peter 1:10; Ephesians 1:6; Romans 11:33; Romans 11:5, 6, 20; Luke 10:20 )

Satan Can Never Be Forgiven

Matthew 25
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[c] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him,[d] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (NKJV).

Eve: A Study of Women in the Bible

Eve was made from Adam's rib (Gen. 2:18-222) and she was named by Adam (Gen. 3:20).  She was deceived by Satan (Gen. 3:1-24) and she leads Adam to sin (1 Tim. 2:13, 14).  Looking at Eve's life we see what we ought not to do.  We see a woman that listened to Satan over listening to God.  We ought never to listen to Satan over listening to God.  Satan is after man's interests not God's interests.

A woman ought to be someone who is faithful to God and His Word.  She should be someone who listens to God's Word over anything else.  Women ought to be godly, holy and innocent in things of the Lord.  They ought not to be entangled in evil things or an adviser of wickedness.

They ought to be women who repent of their sins and forgiving their enemies and wearing the whole armor of God.  They ought to be clothed in the white robes of Christ's righteousness and living by faith.  We all should trust the good Lord for all things.  He supplies all our needs through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We ought to be faithful in the small and great things alike.  Women ought not to hate one another but love as Jesus loved.  Women should be examples in faith, love, hope, charity and lovingkindnesses.
