The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

Have You Finished Reading the Whole Bible? A Test of Our Daily Walk With Christ

Have you read through the entire Bible this year?  Luther was persuaded that if a Christian read the Bible throughout the whole year it would mean that their walk with Jesus is something that is growing and excelling in the Christian faith.  How is your walk with Jesus?  Have you grown in your faith since your conversion experience?  Read the Bible throughout the year, because it will make you grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  We ought to read the whole Bible to grow in grace and knowledge.  It is actually a very good thing to read the Scriptures and pray before and after.  Ask the Lord, “Help me to grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ this year in renewing my mind.  Amen.”  The year is not over.  If you find yourself behind in reading the Bible, you ought get started.
We are to read the Bible and not leave it dusty on our bookshelves:
(2 Kings 22:8, “And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it”).
(2 Chronicles 34:14, “And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD given by Moses”).
(2 Chronicles 34:15, “And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan”).
The Bible is able to make us wise unto salvation:
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.”  (2 Timothy 3:15).
The Bible equips us for every good work in 2 Timothy 3:16-17:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”
