The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

Maintaining God's Divine and Supreme Sovereignty

We must understand that God retains His incomprehensibility and His simplicity.  Of His incomprehensibility, He has given us limited knowledge to understand.  Of His simplicity, He has given us the good news or glad tidings of the Glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

God is not a God of confusion but He is a God of order.  That means what He says makes sense.  God is not in conflict with Himself.   He is always a law unto Himself.  God is altogether good, holy, pure, righteous, upright, godly, and sovereign.  God works according to His divine power and supreme authority.

God does what He does according to His good pleasure.  God chooses to what is pleasing to Himself.  He always acts according to His good pleasure not anything wicked.  He never does anything contrary to His goodness, righteousness, holiness or purity.  He brings about all good for His beloved and blessed children.
