The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

A Short Study of Justification by Faith Alone

Justification is by faith alone; that is, it is in and through and by Christ alone.  We must have faith in the merits of Christ alone; that is, His life and death.

His sole imputed righteousness by faith is superior to any earthly righteousness of sinners; His sole imputed purity by faith is superior to any earthly purity of sinners; His sole imputed goodness by faith is superior to any earthly goodness of sinners.  There is no righteousness greater than the accounted righteousness of Christ alone by faith alone.

Jesus' righteousness is perfect in His sinless life.  He earned salvation for us in His matchless life but forgave and cleansed us through His bloody crucifixion.   Spiritual salvation is a gift by His undeserved and free grace but it had a cost that was His execution at the Cross.
