The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! A Lost Cause

We are called to have mercy upon those who are a "lost cause" or an "out cast."  I suggest to you that they must repent and believe the gospel.  The Bible says to turn from our sins and embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior.  We ought to never turn away from Jesus.  No one can make themselves right with God but only by His grace alone.  It is salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone for God's glory alone because of Scripture alone.  The gospel is the heart of simplicity.  May you turn from your sin today and embrace Jesus as Lord and Savior.  Amen.
