Chapter 1: A Study of the Sixth Commandment
- All narrow and board sin is included in the sixth commandment: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
- The Bible does not support fornication: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
- It does not support adultery: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
- It does not support any manner of sexual uncleanness: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
- It does not support homosexuality: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
Chapter 2: A Study of the Spiritual Crimes in the New Testament
- Adultery is forbidden, because of Christ and His Word.
- The spiritual crimes of people are not to be mirrored by others.
- The sexual sin of the Romans concerning a homosexuality is foreign to the Bible’s teaching of the law of good works and faith.
- The suffering of people can come from sexual sin, because it can be judgment.
- There is a judgment unto eternal life, but there is also a judgment unto eternal death.
Chapter 3: Flee from Sexual Sin to Incarnate Purity
- We are to flee sexual sin and cling to Christ alone.
- We are to commit ourselves to Christ alone and His purity.
- A so-called sexual evildoer who has confessed their sins through His pure life and death alone is purer then an unconverted virgin touching no sexual union.
- No one should seek sin, because the consequence of sin is judgment.
- Sexual sin is harm to every sin, because it is everyone’s burden.
Chapter 4: Put Sin to Death, and Live Uprightly
- We are called to die to self, but live to God in an upright way.
- We are called to live by the Spirit of Christ, but not live according to the flesh.
- We are called to live by Christ’s law, but not live according to lawlessness.
- We are called to walk uprightly, but we are not called to be unholy.
- We are called to live in light of the Gospel of holiness, but to run from sin.
Chapter 5: Only His Unified Righteousness Avails
- The life and death of Christ alone avails for God’s people, because it is intended only for them.
- The unified merit of Christ alone avails for God’s people, because it is divinely acceptable.
- The only merit of Christ that avails is God’s righteousness, because it is His only meritorious sufficiency.
- There is no hope; there is no peace; there is no value except in and through Him who forever lives.
- There is no divine righteousness except in Him; for He is the spiritual blessing of His people in Christ Jesus our Lord and Master.
Chapter 6: Keep in Line
- We are called to keep in line, because we are His people.
- We are called to do what is right, because He purchased us.
- We are called to do what is honorable, because His Spirit lives in us.
- We are called to do what is pleasing to Him, because it is about the law of good works.
- We are called to do what is a good report, because we ought to do what is lovely.
