The Son of Man came to seek and save that which was lost. It is Jesus' favorite title of Himself. I chosen this title because Jesus loved this title of Himself. We ought to never forget that Jesus is fully God and fully man: two natures in One Person. He is the God-man, the Incarnate Second Person of the Trinity. May we mediate on His life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension that we may be conformed to the image of the divine Son of Man! This blog web site will be a Christian defense of the Reformed doctrines of the Incarnate Son of Man. May all glory be to His name!

Adultery, Fornication and Homosexuality: A Study of the Good Work of Morality in the Holy Bible

Chapter 1:       A Study of the Sixth Commandment

  1. All narrow and board sin is included in the sixth commandment: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

  1. The Bible does not support fornication: “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

  1. It does not support adultery:  “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

  1. It does not support any manner of sexual uncleanness:  “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

  1. It does not support homosexuality:  “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”

Chapter 2:      A Study of the Spiritual Crimes in the New Testament

  1. Adultery is forbidden, because of Christ and His Word.

  1. The spiritual crimes of people are not to be mirrored by others.

  1. The sexual sin of the Romans concerning a homosexuality is foreign to the Bible’s teaching of the law of good works and faith.

  1. The suffering of people can come from sexual sin, because it can be judgment.

  1. There is a judgment unto eternal life, but there is also a judgment unto eternal death.

Chapter 3:      Flee from Sexual Sin to Incarnate Purity

  1. We are to flee sexual sin and cling to Christ alone.

  1. We are to commit ourselves to Christ alone and His purity.

  1. A so-called sexual evildoer who has confessed their sins through His pure life and death alone is purer then an unconverted virgin touching no sexual union.

  1. No one should seek sin, because the consequence of sin is judgment.

  1. Sexual sin is harm to every sin, because it is everyone’s burden.

Chapter 4:      Put Sin to Death, and Live Uprightly

  1. We are called to die to self, but live to God in an upright way.

  1. We are called to live by the Spirit of Christ, but not live according to the flesh.

  1. We are called to live by Christ’s law, but not live according to lawlessness.

  1. We are called to walk uprightly, but we are not called to be unholy.

  1. We are called to live in light of the Gospel of holiness, but to run from sin.

Chapter 5:      Only His Unified Righteousness Avails

  1. The life and death of Christ alone avails for God’s people, because it is intended only for them.

  1. The unified merit of Christ alone avails for God’s people, because it is divinely acceptable.

  1. The only merit of Christ that avails is God’s righteousness, because it is His only meritorious sufficiency.

  1. There is no hope; there is no peace; there is no value except in and through Him who forever lives.

  1. There is no divine righteousness except in Him; for He is the spiritual blessing of His people in Christ Jesus our Lord and Master.

Chapter 6:      Keep in Line

  1. We are called to keep in line, because we are His people.

  1. We are called to do what is right, because He purchased us.

  1. We are called to do what is honorable, because His Spirit lives in us.

  1. We are called to do what is pleasing to Him, because it is about the law of good works.

  1. We are called to do what is a good report, because we ought to do what is lovely.
