Hell is a real place of eternal torment. The people who go there do not possess the unified righteousness of Christ alone. That is, they have their own filthy garments that are polluted and corrupt. Hell is a place of the gnashing of teeth and of outer darkness where the flame is not quenched. No one who knows Jesus as their Lord and Redeemer will go there, but everyone who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior will be a resident of hell. You must ask yourself do you have the evidences of being born again? That is, do you have faith and repentance? We would all go to hell if Jesus did not give us His imputed righteousness. Do you trust Him alone? He gave it to us by the application of the Holy Spirit in monergistic regeneration. That means the person remains passive and God gives them a new heart where they believe and repent. I remember I heard a voice say to me, “repent and believe the Gospel!” I quickly repented and had faith towards Jesus and His forgiveness. I was rescued out of the darkness of hell into the marvelous light of Christ. I obey His command of repentance. Can you honestly say that you obey Him in repentance towards God? Hell is a terrible place to be for all eternity. I pray that if you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior that you would do so tonight. What does that mean? It simply means that Jesus is the Lord over your life and His merit is enough to get you into heaven this day. We can’t be more right with God then His unified merit as the basis for how we are right before God. In Jesus’ name may you bow the knee to Him this day! Amen.
Don’t take a chance. Make sure you know Jesus, because He has accepted us. His bloody Cross is sufficient to give us pure righteousness. Don’t take a chance. Trust Him today. Thank you, thank you very much.
