Verses on the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ

^{In Him all things consist for He is God:}

¹⁴In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

 ¹⁵Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

 ¹⁶For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

 ¹⁷And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

 ¹⁸And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

 ¹⁹For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

 ²⁰And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.(Col. 1).

Our Jesus Christ is equal to the Father:

⁵Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

 ⁶Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

 ⁷But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

 ⁸And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

 ⁹Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

 ¹⁰That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

 ¹¹And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.(Phil. 2).

In Him all the fullness dwells:

 ⁹For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.(Col. 2).

Jesus is the First and the Last:

¹⁷And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:  ¹⁸I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.(Rev. 1).
